A dark secret hides beneath the ice in the first trailer for an upcoming Icelandic-set conspiracy crime thriller titled Operation Napoleon: Frozen Conspiracy.

In the film, “A lawyer is sucked into a chilling conspiracy after being accused of a murder she did not commit. Her only chance of survival lies in uncovering the secret of an old German World War II airplane, discovered frozen on Iceland's largest glacier.”

The movie is based on the best-selling novel of the same name and it actually looks like a decent film that tells a gripping story. The movie stars Iain Glen (Game of Thrones), Vivian Ólafsdóttir, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Jack Fox.

Operation Napoleon: Frozen Conspiracy is directed by Óskar Thór Axelsson, and it will be released direct-to-VOD in the UK starting August 14th, 2023. There’s currently new US date set yet.
