Unnerving Trailer for the Crazy Creepy Horror Thriller RELIC Starring Emily Mortimer
IFC Midnight has released the first teaser trailer for the acclaimed indie horror thriller Relic. The movie premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, and it was one hell of a crazy, twisted, and creepy-ass horror movie! I loved it!
Relic tells the story of Edna (Robyn Nevin), “an elderly and widowed matriarch who goes missing, and her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) must travel to their remote family home to find her. Soon after her return, they start to discover a sinister presence haunting the house and taking control of Edna.”
If you like watching terrifying horror movies, this is one you won’t want to miss because it’s such an unnerving story it will chill you to the bone. It’s certainly a fresh and unique take on the haunted-house horror genre.
Relic was directed by Natalie Erika James, who made her feature film directorial debut with it. Relic will the released in select US theaters and on VOD on July 10th.
