A new Croods series is coming to Hulu and Peacock this month titled The Croods: Family Tree. The show is based on the two movies about the pre-historic family in the 2013 film The Croods and the 2020 sequel The Croods: A New Age.

The animated show follows rivals-turned-friends the Croods and the Bettermans as they learn to live together on a farm and overcome their differences.

Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars, Raya and the Last Dragon) returns as the voice of Dawn Betterman, alongside Amy Landecker as Ugga, Kiff VandenHeuvel as Grug, Ally Dixon as Eep, AJ Locascio as Thunk, Dee Bradley Baker as Sandy, Artemis Pebdani as Gran, Darin Brooks as Guy, Matthew Waterson as Phil, and Amy Rosoff as Hope.

Another series, the 2D-animated Dawn of the Croods, set before the events of the first film, debuted in 2015 and ran for four seasons on Netflix. It was a big hit with my kids, and I know they’ll be excited about this one too.

The Croods: Family Tree is set to hit Hulu and Peacock on September 23rd. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
