Legendary comic artist Alex Ross has released the first trailer for a new documentary film titled The Legend of Kingdom Come.

The film will chronicle the making of Ross’ comic book masterpiece, which was initially released in 1996 by DC Comics. The art created for this comic series was stunning and the writing and story were strong.

The film will offer insight into the groundbreaking process that the creative team went through to develop Kingdom Come, with writer Mark Waid.

The film will include interviews with Waid and Ross talking about working on the project as well as other comic luminaries discussing why the series was and remains so important including Paul Dini, Todd McFarlane, and Amanda Conner.

The doc was directed by Remsy Atassi and produced by Sal Abbinanti. It will be released in Fall 2024.
