Trailer For The Fourth and Final Season of Donald Glover's ATLANTA
FX has released the first trailer for the fourth and final season of Donald Glover's fantastic series Atlanta. After time spent in Europe with Season 3, the final season will see the story set back in the Georgia capital. I’m sure that will make fans happy, as many of them didn’t seem to care for some of the story and setting choices for Season 3. Glover actually addressed those criticisms at the summer TCA panel, saying, "We know you hated them. It's fine. I'm really proud of those episodes."
Stephen Glover, Donald's brother who works as a writer and producer on the show, added, "Those episodes felt, for a lot of people, out of the way we do things. But for me, it's kind of like we've always done stuff like that.” He then talked about the upcoming season, saying, “In Season 4, I think there's some elements of and pieces of that … that maybe people won't hate as much this time?"
There’s a lot of fun and interesting stuff teased in this trailer that I think fans will enjoy. The trailer also confirms that the series will return with a two-episode premiere on Thursday, September 15th. It also reveals a few cast members that will return including Kat Williams as Willie and Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Earn's dad, Raleigh Marks.
The cast also includes Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, LaKeith Stanfield, and more. Watch the trailer and let us know if you’re excited about the final season of Atlanta.
