Trailer For the Horror Film POLAROID; Careful... This Camera Will Kill You!

There's a new horror movie coming out called Polaroid and it revolves around an antique Polaroid camera that will kill anyone who has their picture taken by it. Yeah, it sounds like a silly concept, and that's because it is. That doesn't mean it won't entertain some people, though. 

The film comes from the producers of The Ring and The Grudge and it's based on a short film by Lars Klevberg. The description for the film says it's "the next iconic and bold new vision in horror." I imagine they are looking to turn this into the next big horror franchise. Here's the synopsis:

High school loner Bird Fitcher has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken meet a tragic end.

The movie stars Kathryn Prescott (Finding Carter), Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files), Grace Zabriskie (The Grudge), Tyler Young (Eyewitnesses), Keenan Tracey (Bates Motel), Samantha Logan (The Fosters), Priscilla Quintana (Stranded), Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale) and Javier Botet (Mama, It).

Polaroid doesn't look like it will be a great horror film, but it looks like it might be fun to watch with a group of friends that scare easily. The movie will be released on August 25th.
