Here’s a trailer for a new horror movie titled The Inheritance, which sees an aging billionaire inviting his children to his estate to let them know he doesn’t have much more time left to live.

Obviously, there’s a big twist as something is going to take his life at midnight. As the night unfolds, all of the characters are terrorized by something sinister.

The synopsis reads: “On the eve of his 75th birthday, billionaire Charles Abernathy invites his estranged children back home out of fear that tonight someone or something is going to kill him. He puts each of their inheritances on the line, to ensure they’ll help keep him alive.”

The movie was directed by Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead, Nightmare Cinema, Pooka Lives!) and the cast includes Peyton List (School Spirits), David Walton (New Girl), Rachel Nichols (P2), Austin Stowell (A Friend Of The Family), and Bob Gunton (The Shawshank Redemption).

Vertical will release The Inheritance in select theaters and On-Demand on July 1.
