Here’s a trailer for an upcoming horror thriller that’s set on a submarine that is very clearly inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft. The movie is titled Gods of the Deep, and it was written and directed by Charlie Steeds.

In the film, “When a daring mission leads a deep sea submarine team into a mysterious opening on the ocean floor, they uncover a lost underwater world and awaken its ancient race of otherworldly beings.”

For a low-budget horror thriller, the film actually looks decent. The movie stars Derek Nelson, Makenna Guyler, Rory Wilton, Kane Surry, Rowena Bentley, David Lenik, and Tim Cartwright.

The movie is set to be released by Quiver on February 6th.
