IFC Films has released a trailer for a haunting and dark supernatural thriller titled The Innocents. This story for the film involves kids who have these strange powers, and while it starts out as fun, things for them take quite a sinister turn.
In the film, “During the bright Nordic summer, a group of children reveal mysterious powers. But what starts out innocent soon takes a dark and violent turn in this gripping supernatural thriller.”
The movie comes from Norwegian filmmaker Eskil Vogt (The Worst Person in the World) and it offers us a much more grounded and twisted look at superpowers and how kids might use them. It looks like a solid film worth checking out!
