Trailer for the Inspirational Rowing Sports Drama HEART OF CHAMPIONS with Michael Shannon
Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for an upcoming inspirational sports drama titled Heart of Champions. The movie stars Michael Shannon and focuses on a struggling college rowing team that is transformed when a new coach comes into the change things up.
In the film, “After finishing last in the national championship, a college rowing team descends into turmoil and constant infighting between team leaders Alex (Alexander Ludwig), Chris (Charles Melton), and John (Alex MacNicoll). A tough Army veteran, Coach Murphy (Shannon), arrives at the start of the new season to transform the status quo and unlock their true potential. Using his experience and unconventional methods to help them overcome petty rivalries and personal challenges, Coach Murphy must inspire these young men to learn what it takes to be a team before they can be champions.”

You also might be interested in know that the film was produced by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, you know, the twins that Mark Zuckerberg stole Facebook from.
The movie was directed by Michael Mailer from a script written by Vojin Gjaja. Heart of Champions will be released on October 29th.
