Trailer for the Magic-Fueled Adventure Series SHADOW AND BONE Season 2
Netflix has released a full trailer for the second season of the popular fantasy adventure series Shadow and Bone. If you enjoyed the first season, it looks like fans are going to love what’s in store for Season 2!
The series is based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels, and the story is set in “a war-torn world and centers on orphan and lowly soldier Alina Starkov as she unleashes an extraordinary power that could be the key to setting her country free from the monstrous threat of Shadow Fold, though finds herself torn from everything she knows to train as part of the Grisha, an elite army of magical soldiers. Struggling to get a grasp on her powers while avoiding a crew of charismatic criminals out to get her, Alina learns that allies and enemies might be one and the same and that nothing in the lavish world is what it seems.”
In the sequel, “To stand a fighting chance against General Kirigan and his seemingly indestructible new army, Alina Starkov and Mal Oretsev rally their own powerful new allies and begin a continent-spanning journey to find two mythical creatures that will amplify her powers. Back in Ketterdam, a chance at a deadly heist sends the Crows once again on a collision course with the legendary Sun Summoner.”
Season 2 features the return of Jesse Mei Li as Alina, Archie Renaux as Mal, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Kit Young as Jesper, Ben Barnes as Darkling, and Zoë Wanamaker as Baghra. They will be joined by Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat) as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Anna Leong Brophy (Traces) as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Patrick Gibson (The OA) as Nikolai Lantsov, and Jack Wolfe (The Witcher) as Wylan Hendriks.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 premieres March 16, 2023 only on Netflix.
