Trailer For The Matrial Art Action Film ABSOLUTE DOMINION with Patton Oswalt

Giant Pictures has released a trailer for the upcoming martial arts action thriller film Absolute Dominion, which comes from Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander.

The movie looks like it was heavily inspired by Bloodsport or Mortal Kombat, set in the near future involving a grand tournament.

The movie is set in the year 2063, and the world is facing “a catastrophe as zealots & extremists wage a global holy war, crumbling cities and dismantling entire countries in the name of spiritual superiority.

“Desperate for a solution to save humanity from itself, the world's governing bodies vote to establish a radical new form of diplomacy called The Battle of Absolute Dominion, a fierce martial-arts tournament featuring the best fighters in the world to determine a champion whose faith will govern humanity & restore peace for the future.”

It looks like an alright movie with some pretty cool fight sequences.

The film stars Désiré Mia as fighter Sagan Bruno, Andy AlloMario D'LeonAlex WinterOlunike Adeliyi, and Patton Oswalt. With fight coordination from Phil Tan (Bloodsport 2, Martial Law, Showdown in Little Tokyo, Lethal Weapon 4).

Giant Pictures will release the film direct-to-VOD to on May 9th, 2025.
