Trailer for the Mickey Mouse Slasher Horror Film MICKEY'S MOUSE TRAP
That was fast. It looks like some people were ready for Mickey Mouse to enter the public domain and the first trailer has been released for the Mickey Mouse-themed slasher horror film, Mickey’s Mouse Trap. This is sure to be the first of many really bad horror movies that will be made featuring an evil version of Walt Disney’s iconic character. The film sees a killer dressed up as Steamboat Willie’s version of Mickey Mouse running around an amusement park killing people.
In Mickey’s Mouse Trap, “It’s Alex’s 21st birthday, but she’s stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift so her friends decide to surprise her, but a masked killer dressed as Mickey Mouse decides to play a game of his own with them which she must survive.”
The movie was directed by Jamie Bailey who tells The Hollywood Reporter: “We just wanted to have fun with it all. I mean it’s Steamboat Willie‘s Mickey Mouse murdering people. It’s ridiculous. We ran with it and had fun doing it and I think it shows.”
This who thing obviously just a stupid quick little cash grab. They saw that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey movie and are attempting to do the same thing with Mickey Mouse and turn him into a sadistic killer. It’s so dumb, but people will watch it!
This is the second Mickey Mouse-themed horror project to be announced. The first was a video game titled Infestation 88.
The movie stars Sophie McIntosh, Callum Sywyk, Allegra Nocita, Ben Harris, Damir Kovic, Mackenzie Mills, Nick Biskupek and Simon Phillips.
