I love that this film was a part of my childhood! I can't imagine what life would have been like without it. As a fan of these classic monsters, seeing a film bring them all together to wreak havoc and watching a bunch of irreverent kids go up against them to try and stop them was the coolest freakin' thing ever! What kid wouldn't enjoy that!?
Sure, the movie bombed at the box office, but it sure did leave a lasting impression on a lot of fans like myself. The doc comes to us from director Andre Gower, who also played one of the lead character's, Sean, in Monster Squad. It's pretty cool that after all these years the movie finally found the success that it deserves.
