Trailer for the Mysterious Horror Thriller THE WATCHERS Directed by M. Night Shyamalan's Daughter, Ishana Night Shyamalan
Warner Bros and New Line Cinema have released a teaser trailer for a mysterious new horror thriller titled The Watchers. The movie comes from first-time feature film director Ishana Night Shyamalan, who is the daughter of director M. Night Shyamalan, who is producing the film. Shine previously worked on Shyamalan’s Apple TV+ series Servant.
Shine also wrote the film, which is based on a novel that she wrote. The story follows Mina, “a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.”
As you’ll see in the trailer, The Watchers definitely feels like a Shyamalan movie and comes complete with an eerie tone and mysterious unsettling vibes. The movie stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouere.
Warner Bros will release The Watchers in theaters on June 7th, 2024.
