Trailer For The Mystery Thriller HUNTING DAZE
Here’s a trailer for an interesting-looking new indie film titled Hunting Daze. The story centers on a character named Nina (Nahéma Ricci), a young and headstrong exotic dancer, who finds herself stranded in the far North.
She convinces her recent customers, “five men on a bachelor hunting trip, to put her up for a few days. In this masculine microsociety, by turns hilarious and philosophical, Nina starts to feel a sense of belonging she never has before. A mysterious stranger's arrival changes the course of this improvised holiday forever.”
The movie is described as “raw & dreamlike, Hunting Daze offers up a unique universe where humour, horror, the uncanny, and the sensual combine.” It’s also said to be a "dreamy, disturbing modern folktale unraveling the tenuous threads of human nature."
The movie comes from director Annick Blanc, who is making her feature directorial debut. The movie also stars Bruno Marcil, Frédéric Millaire-Zouvi, Marc Beaupré, Alexandre Landry, Maxime Genois, and Noubi Ndiaye as Dudos.
The movie is set to premiere at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.
