Trailer for the Mythological Horror Film THE HALLOW
“If you trespass upon them, they’ll trespass upon you.”
The Hallow is a fascinating and eerie film that premiered earlier this year at Sundance. It’s a supernatural horror movie that revolves around violent mythical creatures that dwell in the woods of Ireland. These creatures include faries and banshees, and they are the kind that you don’t want to screw with.
The concept of the film was great, and it had some very cool and creepy visuals. I enjoyed the film, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the horror genre.
Deep within the darkness of secluded forest land in rural Ireland dwells an ancient evil. Feared by the nearby superstitious villagers as cursed creatures who prey upon the lost, their secrets have been kept from civilization and remain on their hallowed ground. But when a conservationist from London moves in with his wife and infant child in order to survey the land for future construction, his actions unwittingly disturb the horde of demonic forces. Alone in a remote wilderness, he must now ensure his family’s survival from their relentless attacks.
The Hallow will be released in the UK on November 13th. There’s no U.S. date set yet, but it seems like the kind of film that would get a fall release date.
