Trailer For The Neo-Western Thriller BOON Starring Neal McDonough and Tommy Flanagan

Cinedigm has released the first trailer for a new neo-western thriller titled Boon. The movie stars Neal McDonough as a Mercenary named Nick Boon and he’s trying to atone for his life as an enforcer for a ruthless syndicate.

In the story, Boon is running from his past and he “moves to a remote area in the pacific northwest where he meets a struggling widow (Seidel) and her son. When he finds the pair living in fear of a criminal kingpin.” That kingpin is played by Tommy Flanagan, and “Boon realizes the only way to protect them is to do what he does best: Kill.”

I enjoy watching movies like this and this one actually looks like it could be a good movie worth checking out. McDonough and Flanagan are definitely big selling points, but the story looks good as well.

The movie was directed by Derek Presley who also wrote the script with McDonough. The movie also stars Jason Scott Lee, James Madio, Demetrius Grosse, and Christina Ochoa.

Boon will be released on April 1st, 2022.
