Trailer for THE PEZ OUTLAW Tells the Wild Story of a Pez Dispenser Criminal

Here’s a trailer for an upcoming documentary titled The Pez Outlaw, and it tells quite the wild and crazy story of a man named Steve Glew, who became a Pez Dispenser criminal. Glew actually does all the reenactments in the film as it explores his journey to Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall to find Pez dispensers that were lost in Soviet territory. Seriously.

Here’s the synopsis:

This incredible fish-out-of-water story follows the adventures of Steve Glew, a small-town Michigan man, who boards a plane for Eastern Europe soon after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His mission is to locate a secret factory that holds the key to the most desired and valuable Pez dispensers. If he succeeds, he will pull his family out of debt and finally be able to quit his job of 25 years. Steve becomes the hero of his own adventure, smuggling the rarest of goods into the U.S. and making millions in the process. It was all magical, until his arch-nemesis, the Pezident decided to destroy him.

I love everything about this and it looks like an incredibly entertaining film! The movie was directed by Bryan Storkel and Amy Storkel, and Gravitas Ventures will release it On Demand on Friday, October 21st.
