Trailer for the Restoration of the Italian Horror Thriller SUSPIRIA
Dario Argento's 1977 Italian horror film Suspiria is a favorite film of mine. The movie is both incredibly creepy and trippy as hell. If you've never seen this film before, do yourself a favor and watch it. It's a pretty insane ride.
The film has recently gone through a 4K restoration, and it will be getting a re-release in Italy during a special event taking place from January 30th to February 1st. I would love to see this movie on the big screen, but I have no idea if there are any release plans for it in the U.S.
There is a remake of the film currently in development that is being directed Luca Guadagnino and starring Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, and the star of the original film, Jessica Harper. I'm more excited for this re-release of the original than I am for the remake. Make sure to watch the trailer for the restored version of the film below!
