Trailer For the Rom-Com LOVE VIRTUALLY Explores Dating in the Modern World

A trailer has been released for the romantic comedy Love Virtually, which explores dating in the modern world. The film stars SNL actress Cheri Oteri, and character actor Stephen Tobolowsky, who you know from Groundhog Day and The Goldbergs, as well as Peter Gilroy, Tom Virtue, Nikki Howard, Danielle Kriva, Paige Mobley, and Paul F Tompkins.

The film is directed by L.E. Doug Staiman, from a script he co-wrote with Cheston Mizel.

The synopsis reads:

In a world where the Metaverse has become widely adopted, four couples go to ridiculous lengths to find true love in a virtual world. Love Virtually is a retro future satirical rom-com for the Metaverse era, blending live action and 3D animation as It explores and exposes the absurd reality of our world and where we are heading, while probing life’s deepest questions such as: How does a celebrity find someone who loves them for their true selves? Is it cheating if it's in VR? and, Is it cheating if it's with an A.I.?

This doesn’t look that great. Pretty cheesy, but like a mindless flick you could throw on if you didn’t want to get into anything too heavy. And maybe it could spark an interesting conversation between you and your friends or significant other. Check out the trailer below, and catch Love Virtually direct-to-VOD on November 7th.
