Trailer For The Sci-Fi Mystery Thriller MEANWHILE ON EARTH Centers on a Astronaut Who Vanished

Here’s a trailer for an indie sci-fi film titled Meanwhile on Earth, which is a mystery thriller that centers around an astronaut who vanished on his first mission.

In the film, "Siblings Elsa & Franck were always very close. When Franck mysteriously disappeared during a space mission three years ago, everything changed for Elsa.

“Since then, the 23-year-old has struggled to move on with her life. One day she is contacted by an unidentified life form who offers to bring her brother back to Earth. But there is a price to pay..."

The synopsis continues: “Elsa, who, along with her family, is struggling following the disappearance of her brother Franck, an astronaut who vanished on his first mission.

While stargazing one night, Elsa is shocked to receive contact from Franck, but her joy is short-lived when she learns of the dark and troubling forces behind Franck's reappearance, forcing her to confront the lengths she will go for the brother she once feared was gone forever.”

The film comes from French filmmaker Jérémy Clapin and the cast includes Megan Northam as Elsa, with Catherine Salée, Sam Louwyck, Roman Williams, Sofia Lesaffre.

Meanwhile on Earth will be released in select US theaters on September 13th, 2024.
