Trailer For The Serial Killer Mystery Thriller DARKNESS FALLS Starring Shawn Ashmore

Vertical Entertainment has released the first trailer for a new serial killer mystery thriller titled Darkness Falls. The film stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men, Frozen, The Rookie) as Detective Anderson who is investigating a string of suicides that he believes are actually the work of a serial killer team. He is motivated to find these killers because his wife was one of their victims. Here’s the synopsis:

After his wife's suicide, Detective Jeff Anderson (Shawn Ashmore) becomes convinced that she has in fact been murdered. Obsessed with his investigation, Anderson finds out that his wife was the victim of a team of father-and-son serial killers. He'll have to break all the rules to stop them from killing other women. 

The film was directed by Julien Seri (The Great Challenge, Scorpion, and Night Fare) and it also stars Gary Gole, Richard Harmon, Daniella Alonso, Sonya Walger, Vahina Giocante, and Lin Shaye.

Darkness Falls looks like it could be a solid thriller and it will be released direct-to-VOD on June 12th.
