Trailer For THE SIMPSONS Season 35 Teases More Crazy Stories For This Family!
The first trailer has been released for The Simpsons Season 35, yep this animated series has been around for 35 freakin’ years! How insane is that!? I still can’t believe that it’s still going strong! It was also renewed for Season 36 earlier in the year, and The Simpsons is officially the longest-running scripted primetime series in TV history. That’s quite an accomplishment.
This season, “Marge experiences a series of nightmares about young Bart's childhood coming to an end. Homer accidentally volunteers for a school crossing guard position; sixty years in the future, Lisa recounts the story of how Homer was scapegoated for a power outage that plunged Springfield into darkness days before Thanksgiving; and the annual chilling trilogy 'Treehouse of Horror XXXIV' is back!"
In regards to Homer being a school crossing guard, a description for the premiere explains, "when his safety squad receives too much funding, the crossing guards become a force to be feared in the all-new 'Homer’s Crossing' episode of 'The Simpsons.'"
We will also see the return of Kelsey Grammer's Sideshow Bob and the apparent destruction of 742 Evergreen Terrace!
The Simpsons is set to premiere Sunday, October 1st on FOX.
