Trailer For The STARSHIP TROOPERS: CONTINUUM VR Game Featuring Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico
There’s a Starship Troopers game that was recently launched on VR platforms titled Starship Troopers: Continuum, and I’ve got the launch trailer for you to watch.
The game features Casper Van Dien reprising his role as Johnny Rico, and the game is is set 25 years after the Battle of Klendathu. “The war between the Federation and the Arachnid is deadlocked, but the planet Janus-4 holds a secret that threatens to tip the balance of the war: The Continuum.”
Players take on the role of a PsyCommander, “an ‘experiment’ with advanced psychic powers including: control troopers, rank them up, and try to keep them alive; promote them to citizenship for big bonuses, and advance your own powers faster; and add psychic perks to build your perfect trooper. The game features three-player online squad-based combat.”
As someone who enjoys playing VR games, this one looks like it could be fun. Plus I’m a big fan of the Starship Troopers franchise, and I have no problem with killing bugs.
Starship Troopers: Continuum is out now for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3S, and it is coming to PSVR2 on November 25, 2024.
