Trailer For The Stripper Heist Film HUSTLERS with Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, and Julia Stiles
A group of strippers team up rip off some Wall Street asshats in the first trailer for the upcoming heist film Hustlers. The movie has a solid cast of actresses that include Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B and it looks like it’ll be a great flick with a good heist story worth checking out.
Hustlers is inspired by a true story, which was told in a New York Magazine article “The Hustlers at Scores”, by Jessica Pressler. The story is described as, “a modern Robin Hood story for you: a few strippers who stole from (mostly) rich, (usually) disgusting, (in their minds) pathetic men and gave to, well, themselves.”
The story goes into some dark places and it’ll be interesting to see if this film dives into those dark places. Here’s the synopsis for the film:
Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. The film is inspired by the article published by New York Magazine entitled “The Hustlers at Scores” written by Jessica Pressler.
Lorene Scafaria wrote and directed Hustlers with Lopez, Benny Medina, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay producing. The movie hits theaters September 13, 2019.
