Trailer For The WWII Aerial Action Film THE SHAMROCK SPITFIRE: THE TRUE STORY OF SPITFIRE PADDY
The first trailer has been released for an interesting new World War II action movie titled The Shamrock Spitfire. The movie chronicles the epic true story of Brendan “Paddy” Finucane, who is one of the most celebrated fighter pilots of World War II and the youngest Wing Commander in history.
Irish World War II hero Brendan “Paddy” Finucane, was 21 years old when he became the youngest ever Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force. The film chronicles the true story of Finucane, “who was killed when a bullet from ground fire pierced the radiator of his Spitfire during a mission over France.”
In the film, “The future of Europe hangs by a thread as fierce battles rage in the skies over southern England. Irishman Brendan Finucane, with his dreams of being a flyer, is one of the first to enlist into the Royal Air Force.
“Having his baptism of fire in the Battle of Britain, Brendan proves himself to be a natural born fighter pilot. It is not long before he is given command of 452 Australian Squadron. Under Brendan’s leadership they will become the stuff of legend.”
The film was written and directed by Dominic Higgins and Ian Higgins and it stars Shane O’Regan, Chris Kaye, Emily Outred, Eoin Lynch, Bethany Billly, Carl Wharton, Sophia Eleni, Rafe Bird, Jonathan Cobb, Blake Heaven, Charles O’Neill, Sara Dee, Bryan Reynolds, Elliot Cable, and Jason Adam.
The movie is set to be released on March 12, 2024.
