Trailer For Tony Danza's Netflix Comedy Series THE GOOD COP From the Creator of MONK

Netflix has released the first trailer for a new cop comedy series called The Good Cop, which stars Tony Danza and famed singer Josh Groban. The series comes from the creator of the successful detective series Monk, Andy Breckman, which gives me hope that this new series will be good. I like what I'm seeing in this first trailer, so we'll see! Here’s the official description for The Good Cop:

Tony Danza plays Tony Sr. (Big Tony), a lovable yet not exactly honorable, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules. He lives with his son, Tony Jr. (TJ), Josh Groban, a brilliant, straight-laced NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules while solving Brooklyn’s toughest cases. This “odd couple” become unofficial partners as Tony Sr. offers his overly-cautious son blunt, street-wise advice.

The Good Cop premieres on Netflix on September 21, 2018.
