Shout! Studios has released the first trailer for its upcoming dark comedy crime thriller The Kill Room, which stars Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Joe Manganiello. This looks like a fun movie, and it great to see Thurman and Jackson working with each other again!

The movie follows “a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and their money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight, avant-garde sensation, forcing the dealer to play the art world against the underworld.”

The movie comes from writer Jonathan Jacobson and director Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving). The cast also includes Debi Mazar, Dree Hemingway (The Unicorn, Starlet), Amy Keum (Honor Society, Evil), and Candy Buckley (Rare Objects). It also featuresLarry Pine (Succession, The Royal Tenenbaums), Jennifer Kim (Mozart in the Jungle, The Bourne Legacy), Matthew Maher (Air, Captain Marvel), Tom Pecinka (The Survivalist) and Alexander Sokovikov (For All Mankind, The Americans).

The film is set to release in theaters nationwide on September 29, 2023,
