Trailer For VANISHING KNOWLEDGE a Film About a War Veteran on Mission To Save Nokota Horses
A trailer has been released for an interesting-looking film titled Vanishing Knowledge, which is about a man named Frank, a Vietnam War veteran, who has dedicated his life to the survival of the Nokota horse breed.
In the film, “Frank, a Vietnam War veteran, has dedicated his life to the survival of this horse breed… In fact Frank credits them directly in helping him to heal upon his return home from war. Today, he is fighting his own survival in the fight against cancer. It won’t be long before Frank is unable to care for his horses. The lives of these Nokota horses are now at risk. Their story is ready to be shared with the world in this new film.”
The movie is directed by award-winning fashion and wildlife photographer Ejaz Khan and he says, "Today, he is fighting his own survival in the fight against cancer. It won't be long before Frank is unable to care for his horses. The lives of these [300] Nokota horses are now at risk." He goes on to explain that, "Originally, it was to be a documentary but after five failed attempts I decided to switch from a documentary to a feature film."
The film stars Frank Kuntz as Frank and 49% of all proceeds from this film will go towards taking care of the 300 Nokota horses. This doesn’t look like the film has the best production value, but it does tell a sweet and inspiring story.
Vanishing Knowledge will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting in September.
