Trailer for WENDY – A Wild Reimagining of the Story of PETER PAN
The director of the acclaimed 2012 film Beasts of the Southern Wild, Benh Zeitlin, is back with a new film called Wendy. The movie is a reimagining of the classic story of Peter Pan in the director’s own charming style. It definitely looks different from any other Peter Pan film we’ve seen before. This has a very unique and magical style, tone, and story. It’s a very stripped down and grounded version of the Peter Pan story and looks wonderful.

The classic story of Peter Pan is wildly reimagined in this ragtag epic from Benh Zeitlin, director of BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up.
