Trailer for Woody Allen's MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT with Emma Stone
Sony Pictures Classics has released the first trailer for Woody Allen's comedy Magic in the Moonlight. The movie has a great cast of actors that includes Emma Stone, Colin Firth, Eileen Atkins, and Marcia Gay Harden.
The film is set in the 1920s "against a backdrop of wealthy mansions, the Côte d’Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age." It tells the story of an Englishman who is brought in to help unmask a possible supernatural séance scam. Of course, quirky personal and professional complications arise as the story plays out.
I enjoy the films that Allen makes, and this one looks like it will be really entertaining. The director is so good at developing characters and putting them in interesting situations. I love the characters that Firth and Stone play in the film, and they are sure to make a great on screen team in this movie.
The movie comes out July 25th!
