Trailer for Zachary Levi's AMERICAN UNDERDOG Which Tells the Inspiring True Story of NFL Champion Kurt Warner

Lionsgate has released the first fantastic trailer for the upcoming inspirational sports drama American Underdog. The film stars Zachary Levi, and it tells the true story of football star Kurt Warner and his road to becoming an NFL champion.

Kurt Warner went from a stockboy at a grocery store to a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. The film centers on “Warner’s unique story and years of challenges and setbacks that could have derailed his aspirations to become an NFL player – but just when his dreams seemed all but out of reach, it is only with the support of his wife, Brenda and the encouragement of his family, coaches, and teammates that Warner perseveres and finds the strength to show the world the champion that he already is. American Underdog is an uplifting story that demonstrates that anything is possible when you have faith, family and determination.”

I love a good inspirational sports film. It seems like it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a good one and American Underdog looks like it’ll be a movie that audiences will enjoy.

The movie was directed by Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin, and it also stars Anna Paquin, Dennis Quaid, Adam Baldwin, Bruce McGill, and more. It will be released in theater on December 25th, Christmas Day.
