Trailer For Zachary Quinto and Jacob Elordi's Serial Killer Thriller HE WENT THAT WAY

Vertical has released the trailer for an upcoming thriller titled He Went That Way, which stars Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) and Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Priscilla). The film tells the true story of a celebrity animal trainer who picks up a hitchhiker, who happens to be a young and cunning serial killer.

Set in 1964, He Went That Way is “a taut thriller based on a true crime story that puts a wicked spin on the buddy road trip film. The film follows 19-year-old serial killer Bobby (Elordi) as he is picked up by a celebrity animal handler, Jim (Quinto), on a desolate stretch of Route 66 with priceless cargo in tow: Jim's chimpanzee, Spanky, an American TV darling. As stress between Bobby and Jim rises and their fiery personalities combust, the road only becomes more treacherous the farther they go.”

It’s also explained: "This film is as much about a found family as it is a volatile crime drama centered on a serial killer and his captives on the road. Quinto & Elordi draw the audience in with captivating chemistry as both performances bring out stark revelations about [each one], and the difficulty of walking with kindness while navigating a brutal world."

He Went That Way was directed by Jeff Darling and also stars Patrick J. Adams, Phoenix Notary and Ananyaa Shah. He Went That Way will be released in select US theaters on January 5th, 2024, then on VOD starting January 12th.
