Trailer Released for Steven Soderbergh’s OCEAN'S ELEVEN 25th Anniversary Re-Release in Theaters This Summer
Fathom Entertainment has dropped a new trailer for the 25th anniversary theatrical re-release of Steven Soderbergh’s slick casino heist classic Ocean’s Eleven.
Originally released in December 2001, Ocean’s Eleven became a massive hit, pulling in $450.7 million worldwide and cementing itself as one of the most entertaining heist movies ever made. Twenty-five years later, it still plays like a perfectly tuned Vegas magic trick.
Fathom is bringing the film back to theaters for two nights only on June 21st and June 24th, 2026, and tickets are already on sale. The anniversary screenings will also include exclusive insight from film critic Leonard Maltin.
The movie follows Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney, who wastes no time getting back to work after being released on parole. Less than a day later, he’s already putting together an ambitious plan to rob three Las Vegas casinos at the same time.
The synopsis reads: “Dapper Danny Ocean is a man of action. Less than 24 hours into his parole, the wry, charismatic thief is already rolling out his next plan. Following 3 rules — don't hurt anybody, don't steal from anyone who doesn't deserve it, play the game like you've got nothing to lose — Danny orchestrates the most sophisticated, elaborate casino heist in history.
“In one night, Danny's handpicked 11-man crew of specialists — including an ace card sharp (Brad Pitt), a master pickpocket (Matt Damon) and a demolition genius (Don Cheadle) — will attempt to steal over $150 million from three Las Vegas casinos owned by Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia), the elegant, ruthless entrepreneur who just happens to be dating Danny's ex-wife Tess (Julia Roberts). Coincidence or motive? Only Danny knows.
“To score the cash, he'll have to risk his life & his chance of reconciling with Tess. But if it all goes according to Danny's intricate plan, he won't have to choose between his own stake in the heist and his high-stakes reunion with Tess... or will he?”
This is on of those movies that I can watch over and over and over again, and never get tired of. I’m a big fan of this movie. It’s pretty much a perfect movie, and it’ll be fun to watch it on the big screen again.
