Trailers For Netflix's Great-Looking Korean Revenge Series THE GLORY
The filmmaking talent in Korea is consistently putting out great films and TV series that are worth watching! I’ve been enjoying a lot of their projects and there’s a new one coming to Netflix, a revenge thriller series titled The Glory. This looks like it’ll be a solid show worth checking out!
I didn’t even realize that part one of this series already launched on Netflix, and now they are promoting the second part. I’ve got to jump in and start watching!
In the story, “Dong-eun is a meek and reserved teenager who lives in poverty with her mother and has no friends. At school, she’s relentlessly bullied — both physically and mentally — by a group of privileged kids whose wealth and connections enable them to never see the consequences of their actions. Even her mother would rather accept bribery than hold anyone at her school accountable. Though Dong-eun eventually escapes the brutal abuse, she still lives with the scars — and vows to make each of her bullies pay for what they did. As Dong-eun's plan begins to unfold, the perpetrators have no idea what’s coming to them."
After becoming a primary school teacher, she takes in the son of the man who tormented her the most, and uses him for the vengeance she seeks. "From now on, every single day will be a nightmare. They’ll be provocative and terrifying. You can't stop me or make me disappear." Yep, I’m in!
The series stars Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, Yeom Hye-ran, Park Sung-hoon, and Jung Sung-il. The Glory is created and written by Kim Eun-sook (Descendants of the Sun). Part 1 of the series is currently streaming and Part 2 is coming on March 10th, 2023.
