Trailers For THE SATURDAY IN OCTOBER Slasher Film Double Feature Pays Tribute To '80s VHS Horror Films
Dark Sky Films is having a little fun with horror fans with a new double feature slasher film experiment that was inspired by the VHS horror films of the ‘80s. They’ve released two trailers for two films including The Third Saturday in October Part V and The Third Saturday in October Part 1.
Ok, yeah, you might be confused a little by this throwback double feature, but this is the kind of fun they’re having. You see, The Third Saturday in October Part V kicks off the horror franchise, and it’s followed by The Third Saturday in October Part 1.
The Third Saturday in October Part V is technically the second entry in the slasher series and there are no Parts II, III, or IV. I kinda dig what they are doing here. Sure, it doesn’t make much sense, but they are doing something fun and unique!
