Tremendously Moving Short Film SONDER Explores The Paralyzing Fear of Moving On

I’ve got an incredible animated short film for you to check out today called Sonder that takes us inside of the mind of a man who is paralyzed by the fear of moving forward after he and his girlfriend break up.

Here’s the synopsis:

For years, Finn and Natalie walked the same path. But when their time together comes to an end, Finn finds himself lost in a mysterious land. Paralyzed by the fear of moving on, he is at risk of losing himself. Through self-discovery, Finn must gather the strength to forge a new way forward.

This is a tremendously moving short film that I think many people will be able to relate to. Especially those of us who have found themselves battling depression and anxiety at certain times in their lives.

The movie carries a powerful message of finding the strength to pick yourself up and move forward. I for one found a lot of value in this short and I hope you all give it a chance. It certainly inspired me.

The movie was written and directed by Neth Nom and he did a beautiful job telling this story.
