TRICK 'R TREAT Poster Art and Event Screening in L.A.
Michael Dougherty's Trick 'R Treat is hands down my favorite Halloween movie of all time! Ever since it was released on Blu-ray in 2009 it's been a tradition of mine to watch it every year on Halloween. Legendary Pictures is holding a special screening for the film at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood CA this Monday. I'm going, and it will be the first time that I've watched the film on the big screen! I'm incredibly excited about that.
Dylan Baker and Brian Cox will be in attendance with the director and actor Seth Green will serve as the moderator during a question and answer session after the film.
The poster above was created by artist James Fosdike, and fans who attend the screening will receive one of them. 100 numbered prints and 85 glow-in-the-dark variant edition prints will go on sale at the Odd City Entertainment store the following day.

Entire night to be Live-Streamed on Legendary’s Facebook Page
The pieces are all falling into place for a special night at the Egyptian Theatre on October 28. Legendary Pictures has announced that all of the key cast members of the cult horror classic Trick ‘r Treat will be in attendance for the one night only theatrical screening of the movie and subsequent panel, which is slated to close Beyond Fest. Dylan Baker and Brian Cox will join Director Michael Dougherty to headline the event. Also slated to attend are Quinn Lord, who played the horror icon Sam in the movie along with Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Moderating the panel will be actor Seth Green (DADS, ROBOT CHICKEN). Additionally, other surprise guests are expected to attend.
Tickets for the Trick ‘r Treat screening and panel are available at the Legendary and Trick ‘r Treat official Facebook pages. For those who will not be able to attend in person, both the showing of the film and the panel will be live-streamed nationally on Legendary’s Facebook page at facebook.com/legendary.

THE STORY OF TRICK ‘R TREAT
Although never released in theaters, Trick ‘r Treat became a cult classic through its release on DVD, digital platforms, and extensive play in festivals. Additionally, the film received rave reviews for its originality and ambition. The passage of time has not diminished the fan fervor for this horror classic, which continues to achieve a life of its own with each new technology, but has never been seen in theaters – until now.
Dougherty’s story takes place in a small Ohio town on All Hallows Eve where four interwoven tales - including a high-school principal who moonlights as a vicious serial killer, a college-age virgin who's saving herself for that special someone, a woman whose hatred of Halloween is only exceeded by her husband's love of the mischievous holiday, and a callous group of teens who carry out an unforgivably cruel prank – delivers the kind of chills that can only occur on the darkest day of the year.
