Troll Lord Games is Using Kickstarter to Bring THE LOST CITY OF GAXMOOR to D&D 5E
The Lost City of Gaxmoor was an adventure written by Ernie and Luke Gygax, the sons of Gary Gygax, and Dave Moore and published by Troll Lord Games. It was an adventure for Dungeons & Dragons’ famous 3rd Edition, and now, Troll Lord Games wants to bring it into the present. To convert the adventure to 5th Edition, the team created a Kickstarter which has already been over 500% funded with about 21 days to go. Here’s a little flavor for you:
“The sun sinks slowly over the desolation of the ancient and once grand Empire. In the distance, just upon the slopes of a broad cliff, lie the ruins of a city. Her alabaster walls wind their way along the rocky mesa, guarding buildings both fair and ruined. It was a great city in its day, now long since fallen to the ravages of time and war. Long ago she stood as a shining doorway to the east, a place for rest and restocking of provisions for those on the long trek into the wild lands of the barbaric frontier in the Western Empire. But all that is past for this, the ruins of the Lost City of Gaxmoor.”
If you pledge $20 then you will receive a digital copy of the book along with a digital copy of the city map. If you pledge $60, you’ll get the digital and physical versions of the book and map. Of course, they have more options available with even more goodies in store. If you’re unable to back them, don’t worry, they do mention that they want to have the adventure available through retailers for $39.99. The Lost City of Gaxmoor is currently set to release in March 2020.
