That Leaked Video of Andrew Garfield on The Set of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Might Just Be Deepfake
Update: So, I just learned that this video showing us that Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man video is a deepfake, is actually fake. The creator admitted it was fake.
“Nah, I made this video yesterday during lunch. Obviously it was never going to fool anyone who really knows about VFX, but just having the average person believe it was enough.”
So, I got trolled…. again. I hate the internet. While Serrato did admit his own DeepFake video was fake, he says he’s sure that the leaked video is real.

As you’ve probably seen or heard, there is a lot of talk about there being proof that Andrew Garfield is reprising his role as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home. There’s a photo that’s been making the rounds, and then there’s a convincing video that surfaced.
Well, it turns out that the video is a fake and it was created by YouTube user Alex Cerrato. He created a really good and convincing deepfake of Andrew Garfield and a lot of people fell for it! Hell, I thought that it was at least just old video footage from the set of one of the earlier Amazing Spider-Man films, but nope, the whole thing was faked!
So, this video evidence that Garfield is in the movie has been shattered to pieces. I knew it was too good to be true. Watch the video below that shows you how the creator of the video brought Andrew Garfield to life and trolled the internet.
