TV Spot for Jon Favreau's CHEF
I'm a big fan of Jon Favreau, and he doesn't have to make big comic book movies to get me excited about his projects. The guy was making great indie films before he hit it big with Iron Man. Now he has another fantastic-looking little movie coming out called Chef. Thanks to AICN, we have a new TV spot to show you today.
When Chef Carl Casper (Favreau) suddenly quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he is left to figure out what’s next. Finding himself in Miami, he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo) and his son to launch a food truck. Taking to the road, Chef Carl goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen—and zest for life and love.
The movie also reunites the director with Iron Man stars Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. Chef hits theaters on May 9th, and I'm looking forward to watching it.
