TV Spot For Marvel's MS. MARVEL - "Witness The Beginning of a New Marvel"
We’ve got another TV spot to share with you today for Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Ms. Marvel. The promo spot is titled “Not Alone” and it puts a focus on Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan dealing with the fact that she has gained super powers and while it’s something she always wished for, it’s not as great as she thought it would be.
Kamala Khan is a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. “An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?”
The rest of the cast includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
The Ms. Marvel series is being developed by British writer Bisha K. Ali (Four Weddings and a Funeral), who is writing the series and also serves as showrunner.
Episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers.
Ms. Marvel is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 8, 2022!
