TV Spot For WONDER WOMAN 1984 Features Some New Footage

“One day this world will be ready for all that you do.”

A new international TV spot for Wonder Woman 1984 has been shared and it includes a good amount of new footage that we haven’t seen before.

The story for the sequel picks up with Diana Prince as she’s working at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. in the 80s, and she’s been living a quiet, lonely life since the events of the first movie. But she’s still just trying to help the people who need it.

The synopsis reads:

In 1984, during the Cold War, Diana comes into conflict with two formidable foes—media businessman Maxwell Lord and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva / Cheetah, while reuniting with her love interest Steve Trevor.

The movie was directed by Patty Jenkins, and it also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.

The DC film will be released both in theaters and on HBO Max on December 25th, 2020.
