Two Awesome New Featurettes That Show Off the Incredible Action in THE 355

Two awesome new featurettes have been released from the upcoming action flick The 355, which dive into the fight scenes and action sequences pulled off in the movie. The film stars Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger, Lupita Nyong'o, Penélope Cruz, and Fan Bingbing in the lead roles, as well as Sebastian Stan, Edgar Ramírez, and Emilio Insolera.

Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Sherlock Holmes) is directing the film, which he co-wrote with Theresa Rebeck. Cinematography is done by Tim Maurice-Jones (Snatch, Revolver, Kick-Ass 2).

Here’s the film’s synopsis:

When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason "Mace" Brown (Jessica Chastain) will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie (Diane Kruger), former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Lupita Nyong'o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Penélope Cruz) on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one-step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Fan Bingbing), who's tracking their every move. As the action rockets around the globe from the cafes of Paris to the markets of Morocco to the wealth & glamour of Shanghai, the quartet of women will forge a tenuous loyalty that could protect the world—or get them killed.

I thought this movie looked decent from the beginning, but every new trailer and featurette gets me a little more excited. This looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Check out the two videos below, and watch Universal’s The 355 in theaters on January 7th, 2022.
