Two Clips From The New STAR WARS Digital Release Special Features

Last night, Lucasfilm announced that they will be releasing the entire Star Wars saga on digital HD with some brand new bonus features. I fully agree with Joey's point in his write-up: it's likely that you already own Star Wars in some form or another, so the new bonus features are basically the main reason for getting this new incarnation.

They're dividing those special features into two main sections: Conversations, which features new talks with some of the most essential people involved with the franchise, and Discoveries From Inside, which is more of a traditional behind-the-scenes feature. And while we thought we'd have to wait until Friday to see any footage, Lucasfilm has surprised us with two new clips. USA Today has the first, which includes a conversation with set decorator Roger Christian and effects technician-turned-director Joe Johnston about the making of the Millennium Falcon:

And the second comes from Collider, and it confirms the color of Han Solo's Hoth jacket. I had no idea there was even a big controversy about this, but I'm sure those of you who are super into that level of detail will be either heartbroken or thrilled about this:

The full Star Wars saga will be available for purchase on digital HD this Friday, April 10th.
