Two Funny Clips From Jerry Seinfeld's Netflix Stand-Up Special and Premiere Date

I'm such a huge fan of comedian Jerry Seinfeld and I'm so excited about his partnering up with Netflix. He will be doing two stand-up comedy specials for the streaming service and he will be shooting 24 new episodes of his fantastic talk show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Netflix has just announced that the first comedy special, Jerry Before Seinfeld, will air on Tuesday, September 19th. They've also released two clips from the special teasing the kind of Seinfeld comedy we are in store for.

The first clip deals with socks and how they hate their lives. The second clip centers around people giving him the finger. It's that wonderful classic Seinfeld comedy that we all know and love.

The hourlong special "will see the comedian return to New York City's famed The Comic Strip — the club that helped launch his career. The set will be interspersed with never-before-seen material, including an extensive library of legal pads containing every joke Seinfeld has written since 1975 as well as childhood videos. As part of his set, Seinfeld will perform the jokes that helped ignite his career."

Sounds like fun!

Socks hate their lives, we know that.

I’m only one finger away from a compliment.
