Two Kids From Different Era's Embark on a Quest For Answers in Spellbinding Trailer For WONDERSTRUCK

A fantastically captivating new trailer has been released for an upcoming new film called Wonderstruck, which has been met with a lot of positive buzz from critics. I loved what I saw in this first trailer as it has a mysterious magical element as two kids from completely different eras embark on a journey to find answers to what they are looking for.

Based on Brian Selznick’s critically acclaimed novel Ben and Rose are children from two different eras who secretly wish their lives were different. Ben longs for the father he has never known, while Rose dreams of a mysterious actress whose life she chronicles in a scrapbook. When Ben discovers a puzzling clue in his home and Rose reads an enticing headline in the newspaper, both children set out on quests to find what they are missing that unfold with mesmerizing symmetry.

This is very much a family film and it stars Oakes Fegley (Pete’s Dragon), Julianne Moore (Far From Heaven), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine) and introduces Millicent Simmonds.

Wonderstruck comes from the same author who wrote Hugo and he also wrote the screenplay. The movie was directed by Todd Haynes (Carol, Mildred Pierce) and it will be released by Amazon Studios and Roadside Attractions on October 20th, 2017.
