UGLYDOLLS Casts Blake Shelton as OX

UglyDolls will now star four musicians and two comedians as Blake Shelton joins the party. Shelton joins Kelly Clarkson, Gabriel Iglesias, Nick Jonas, Pitbull, and Wanda Sykes. He will play the unofficial mayor of Uglyville named OX as well as perform some original music for the film like his costars.

“The animated feature is based on the plush toy line by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim. Set in the adorably different town of Uglyville, the free-spirited Moxy and her UglyDolls friends confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing, because who you truly are is what matters most.”

UglyDolls will come to theaters in 2019 and start a universe that includes a new children’s show at Hulu.
