Ultron Turns His Back on Humanity in His AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Character Poster
Hot on the heels of last week's debut of the character posters for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, Marvel has unveiled the poster for the title villain himself. Maybe Tony Stark uploaded the past few years of movie marketing techniques into Ultron's database, because the villain is standing with his back to the "camera," peering over his shoulder at us like so many other posters have done in recent years.
Maybe it's just me, but if you look closely, it looks like Ultron is actually showing a little bit of sadness on his face. It's sort of Groot-esque, actually, with the big eyes and the stoic mouth. It's almost as if Ultron feels a pang of regret for wanting to destroy the world. We'll find out just how much emotion James Spader will bring to the character when Avengers: Age of Ultron opens on May 1st. Check out all of the recent character posters and everything else we know about the film here.
